To the point that many would call it stupid.

Especially when compared to deciding based on fear and greed. <gg>

Donald, in no way should you EVER burden yourself with a wrong call from the past or the future. Everyone is responsible for his and her own trading decisions and no one else -- I think we all sign agreements to that effect with the brokerage services we use. Anyone who submits a post in public or private blaming you for a wrong call should never be playing the market. These individuals need to discipline themselves and internalize the reason for their errors and not try to seek out an external cause to satisfy their bruised egos.

In this game, we all win some and loose some. If I expected to have all winners, I am sure by now I would have severe mental and physical health problems. If I could win all the time, I wouldn't be trading stocks -- I would be getting rich writing books on how to beat the stock market and be on CNBC telling the masses how to invest.

Sometimes poor timing catches us as it did me. I don't blame you or anyone else. It was my call and I alone am stuck with making some tough decisions.

I would like to be as disciplined as you in making trading decisions but I am not. I always keep one eye open to the market sentiment/emotion and news that can affect the securities and sectors I trade.

I certainly hope you and others are correct about a down turn coming along. This market does not need another manic run to lure investors into complacency and "greed" whereby they margin themselves and their families to the point of financial ruin when a big down turn comes as in April. This market needs to be tempered.

For your information, I was going to use today as my decision point to "hang in there" or start going long on some bets. Seeing that the NAZ has gone from +10 to -13.7 while composing this note, I just may stay the coarse. I am not loosing too badly so far today. Time will tell. Now looks like the DOW is tanking. Keep up the good work, Donald. You won't get any criticism from me on your calls. GH
