Wow, what a torrent of replies <g>.

Cyber-Care (I can't bring myself to do that stupid thing they do with the capital letters and one small letter) is really a pure telemedicine company, and IMO will soon find that adoption rate for new technologies by physicians is generally SLLOOOOOWWW. I think their technology is real (although I'm not sure I can say the same about their management), but expensive, and their target market is the chronically ill and home-bound. I don't consider them competition for Stayhealthy, at least until Stay decides to invade THEIR turf.

LifeShirt - LOL Offie, I know you know more about them than I do. I know Stay management is keeping an eye on them as a potential competitor or alliance partner, too, but I heard a rumor that they're having trouble keeping the sensors in the shirt functioning properly after laundering. They're well behind Stay in making strategic alliances and marketing partnerships, and don't have a management team like Stay's which puts them in a big hole. They did raise a nice chunk of money a week or two ago. In theory, their technology competes with Stay's to some extent but I think they're also mainly targeting the chronic disease and convalescent segment of the population. What do YOU think? <g> Have I left anything out? Does anyone else have an observation of any kind? <VBG>
