would someone tell bezos that $1 billion cash isn't much at his burn rate and debt level?

Skeeter,

Bezos stated that Amazon had about $900 million during his speach at the France site opening. He said that was almost a billion. I do not know at what point in time Bezos was referring to but my calculations give Amazon about $825 million in cash as of today. What I find more odd than that, is that $900 milliohn is "almost a billion." You may live a higher life style tan I but the differnec of $100 million would last me at least a year or two of comfortable living;-) Seriously, give or take $100 million is a lot of money. $900 million is not almost a billion dollars. It is $100 million less.
