Heinz - Yes, and re your post #14756... The evening network news shows are barely that. They will often choose a particular story, then beat it to death for days or even weeks to the exclusion of all else. I particularly hate the fact that more and more they have become "magazine" shows, doing human interest stuff as opposed to hard news. Weekend blurbs (teasers) announce what will be presented the following week. This is network "news", remember. Reporting is a lost art. Oh yes, want to know what's going on in the rest of the world? Forget it. R
