That may be an acceptable way of running ones life.

Unfortunately in the semiconductor business life is not so simple.

If you are a B player your margins will suffer.

And you will have unhappy shareholders.

Most Intel holders are still not that worried about intel because the stock price is close to an all time high.

If it was half where it is now then you might not be so sanguine about accepting second best.

Intel has built its reputation and faith from wall street over many years.

But i bet you everyone will be watching the execution on PIV a whole lot more closely.

Any major hiccups and folks will run for the exits.

And when they run the stock dumps VERY fast.
