Joe,

Thanks for PMing me the info on the e-mails.

The Silicon Investor Newsletter and the Free Trial Offer - Experience Web Conferencing... e-mails are different types. The former falls into the category of e-mails on new services, features... of Silicon Investor/Go2Net and the latter falls into the category of e-mails from other companies.

There are two ways (currently) to subscribe or unsubscribe to these e-mails.

1) You can opt-out by clicking on the link from the e-mail. (This is a real-time unsubscribe, but you would have to do it twice... one for each type of e-mail. At this point you have unsubscribed to each, so you shouldn't be receiving any communication.)

2) You can opt-in or opt-out to either (or both) through our Member Services Page. siliconinvestor.com This is not real-time, as we extract names from our database several days before sending out an e-mail.

In the future, there will be a subscription center, whereby you can subscribe or unsubscribe to any/all at once, and it will be real-time.

By the way, I hope you'll reconsider receiving the SI Newsletter which IMHO is nicely done and includes info on features and interesting threads many SI users don't know about.

John
