State IS the religion

support the State.

all property
belongs to the State

There, I think you finally have it. It is quite simple, no?<g>

The State used to have a job to do, a small, but important one. Protect the liberty of the individual. It's getting easier to do because there's much less to protect.

It's hard to believe we need to "protect" the State. From what? And is that the "Federal" State or the "State" State?
Maybe this is referring to protecting our borders?

Dear Jim S.,

No I didn't intend it as a joke, but I am always glad to bring a smile to someones face, even at my own expense.

The second amendment mentions the state: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State..."
which is why I mentioned it. Do these other amendments mention the state? If not, why does my logic commit me to those absurd opinions?
