But what about the Quake 3 benchmarks? If they were true a 1.0GHz P4 would be nearly 50% faster in 1024x768x32 than an equally clocked P3. Look at this page from Anands latest article:

It clearly says that Q3 is fillrate limited at this resolution. IMO the entire article is very dubious: Do you really think that SiSoft Sandra would identify the CPU as a "Pentium 4" (as seen in the screenshots)?
