Ron you must be the only person in the country who honestly believes the "official" inflation figures. I started this discussion with you by pointing out that despite the strength of the USD it has one of the worse PPP (purchasing power parity) when compared with most of the other "weaker" world currencies.

You demonstrated by your reply that either you had no concept of the PPP, or you were not prepared to discuss anything that did not fit your view of the world.

Please answer this one question. How do you explain the very poor PPP of the USD considering its strength, the GDP of the US and the reported benign inflation?
