OT Neville Chamberlain didn't intervene when there was vital British interests at risk. Poland was a vital British interest???? Stopping (or at least putting maximum effort in to preparing to stop) an agressive power who is attempting to dominate your continent is in your self interest. Germany was a threat to Britain. Serbia in the 90s and 2000 was not a threat to the US. I'm not arguing that we should not have intervened against Serbia (or that we should have). I am just argueng against your Bush = Chamberlain idea. Tim
