I dont trust Corning mgmt to pull off successfully a transition to full blown NewEcon fiberoptic I laugh every time the masses jump onboard a tech stock that is ALREADY up 100% in two months momentum trading is just too dangerous for me right now the Conexant buy seems interesting, mihgt require a few months CNXT cannot seem to get any legs when do you think the wireless sector will get out of the Wall Street doghouse? perhaps introduction of HDR will ignite the sector has anyone noticed the Euro currency is almost dead on its back? it is struggling badly in the 88-89 range, low for year tells me the Federal Reserve CANNOT raise interest rates, PERIOD !!! the German and English central banks have much influence over Greenspan any further US rate hike would lead to even worse Euro decline I expect the US$ to rise further this autumn, exacerbating Euro problems Europeans are now suffering from inflation among imported US technology and other finished products / Jimeon Simeon
