Dear Ken: "shhhhhhhhhh - don't tell anyone"

[Whispering] I won't.

I had planned picking up a few more shares today, but a friend called and we went shopping at the Amish discount food store [read: dented cans, etc.]. By the time we got back te market had closed. Now I think I'll wait a day or two and try to get more closer to 50.

Up 50%? That's great! I'm up 6.9% already :)

Best regards,

Lynn

Hi Ken- I wish I had found this thread sooner. I missed the ABMD train 2 years ago when a hospital CFO buddy of mine told me about it. I thought because it had gone from 7 to 11 that it would pull back. Of course it never did and I missed the move to 80+. I did buy on the pullback to the 30's though. In early August I decided to sell covered calls on 1/2 my position to generate some income. That was right before the stock split that I never knew about. Now it looks like 1/2 my shares will get called away from me this coming Friday.

We have more than ABMD in common though. I rarely hold stocks more than a few weeks, but AMBD and SUNW are 2 of the 3 that I have managed to keep without selling. And, I am a Penn State grad. From your bio it looks like I was a little over a decade behind you. I was just up there last week for a wedding. First time in a few years, boy has it changed. Even the stadium is different with all the seats being added. Plus of course the new Arena. The good news is the Creamery is still the same. :-)

Here's to hoping that this fall reveals some good news for us ABMD shareholders.
