i have zonealarm downloaded onto my hard drive, but not installed. i was working with PCHelp's Network Tracer ( pc-help.org ) today whenever i had free time, trying to get it to run right.

i just installed zonealarm. doing some configuring now. sure looks like a resource hog.... with 128mb ram i've consistently had 85% free system resources at start up. with za that figure dropped like a rock to 78%.
