It just came to me from a corporate IT type as though it was new.

Such is the nature of the Internet! One really ought not believe any e-mail about new viruses without checking one of the references sites. All to make are complete hoaxes and others, like this one, might have been valid once, but are old news because of that wonderful way that mail goes on and on and on and on.

Almost as bad as press releases on Emulex!

LOL, I get virus updates from my relatives at least once a week, most are hoaxes. A good starting point to see if a serious virus is on the loose is:
