Because I think Hector is a very capable man and I'm looking forward to the date when he will replace Jerry as CEO. It's a good sign that he takes additional responsibility in the computation group (AMDs most important) and I also like his relatively aggressive approach while staying polite. With Hector the street's perception of AMD could finally change.

Oh, and I also liked his reiteration of guidance (for the fourth or fifth time since earnings). PR has improved significantly IMO.

If this guy was in charge of the platform/chipset support for the Athlon this year, I don't see how his departure can be considered bad...
