i wouldn't trade the options...what for? the stocks themselves are priced like options already. as for Kaplan, while i happen to agree with him, i sure wouldn't buy because of what he says...you can just as well toss a coin. he's made some good calls to be fair, but some bad ones also. all that said, a seasonally favorable period for gold is coming up, and he's quite right that sentiment is extremely lopsided in favor of the USD and conversely bearishness in other currencies and gold is quite rampant. so it sure looks like a good time to hop aboard.
