Until June 2000, Rambus' future was "in the hands of the courts" - Hitachi had not settled and Toshiba wasnt a licensee yet. If there is "no margin of safety for investors" now, there was even less margin then. MU's lawsuit doesnt change anything - rmbs is not and has never been a government treasury bond.
