AKAM is the clear leader at present. The fact that Cisco , Inktomi etc have created alliances only validates the business Akamai is in. The problem Akamai, Inktomi , Cisco etc are trying to solve is very complex. Akamai's founder is Tom Leighton a professor of Computer Science in MIT whose research area was in algorithm for graph theory. I believe AKAM has significant intellectual property in this area. They are the leaders until proved otherwise. As I said I would buy AKAM and INKT and sell the loser once the winner was evident. Thanks Anindo
