Truman also seemed to think Uncle Joe was our best buddy. Kinda upset Joe when he mentioned we had the nuke.

We are off in a couple of hours. I've repacked my books four times so far. I shall report on the sexist boules tournament and the disco night. I found a pair of tight lycra bellbottoms with embroidered hems in the Junior department of Ross Discount and a fantastic white Indian cotton shirt with little MIRRORS on it and big hippy sleeves. I hadn't realized that the 70s were back in bigtime with the teens. I will have to have wine before I wear it-- it shows my tummy- not a part of my anatomy I am inclined to reveal under normal circumstances. Dan has a white belt and black polyester shirt and gold chains. If he's in the right mood, he can have great attitude. In the past when we do these kinds of things, he always wins prizes, just because he is a great mimic- his Elvis is really quite good. Of course our disco dancing days are not just behind us, they were nonexistent. I was too busy doing theatre in the 70s and he was playing baseball and studying. I imagine we will all giggle, strike a few poses, and go back to our books and wine. Starting to get excited now. The cats are wigging out-- they can tell something is going on and they get upset when our suitcases appear. I told them Ammo would be here but they are not reassured- they know Ammo, I don't blame them. Will they be alive when we get home? Will the house be here?
