i turned into a short term bull a while ago, but i still expect the house of cards to go down in flames eventually.
in the near term it's a coin toss imo, as my data remain conflicting...but i wouldn't be surprised to see us fall out of the wedge we're in.

the NAZ wave count remains unresolved imo - essentially there is one view that regards the current rally as part of a wave 2 or B of a down trend, to be followed by a W3 or C decline, and the alternate view is that this is wave 5 of an uptrend, which is supported by some subsectors making new highs or coming close (NWX, BTK). my own view is that if it really IS a wave 5 that's in progress, it will probably turn into a 'failed' fifth, which doesn't produce a new high. in any event i'm more inclined to think it's the bearish scenario...i.e. the rally was of a corrective nature.
