Just an FYI for readers of this message: Intel does not own Rambus.

However much they are pushing for it is uncertain. They used to be 100% DRDRAM gung-ho, but they've retreated a bit and have expanded their SDRAM platform plans. Whether this is merely a temporary retreat or a permanent one is really currently unfiguroutable.
