Sam, Well today, rdrt, htch and invx all went up again. These companies are totally dependent on unit volume and price of disk drives. The fact they're up many days now should mean that demand exceeds supply at this point. At least someone with a few $million is betting that way.

Regarding you paranoid discourse, I've always thought that Seagate has been financing their price wars with investment profits. Unfortunately they have more incentive now than ever to destroy the whole drive industry at this point. But I'm betting that parts shortages will prevent them this time.
