Anyone notice that the beaten-down telecom sector is making a nice steady move upward lately?

T,FON,WCOM,etc...especially FON, which is bouncing off its bottom much more strongly than the others.

I have a small underwater position in FON....declined to double up on shares when it hit bottom....still waiting for big upward move on heavy volume, which will be the first clue that the smart money on Wall Street knows something I don't about merger/acquisition/other good news....or just simply the value inherent in the shares.

And by the way, notice LOR's move today. "Smart money" that I sometimes listen to locally has been preaching the gospel lately about satellites/Internet in a general way....think LOR is on their watchscreen, although this particular "smart money" person only shares the specifics with paying clients, so I'm not sure if LOR is his favorite.
