i think a new BTK all time high is basically a fait accompli. the only question is how high will it go.

i think the banks are also going to go to new highs, and the i-nuts should be on fire for some time...they always are when the printing presses are running at full speed.

actually many sub sectors seem set to make new all time highs, and the laggards should begin to catch up. by the end of next year we'll probably be surprised in hindsight at the sheer size of the coming rally.

not without hicc-ups though...i think from the mid September cycle high a pretty deep correction could develop, maybe even starting a bit earlier than that. but the low in October should be bought hand over fist...especially if the bear music is playing loudly.

anyway, today the ramp will resume...that much is already certain...the ECB's 'out of the way' and we get a long weekend plus the jobs report. always good for a rip-roaring rally.

PS: gold is also ready for a seasonal pop...but it won't last. after much consideration last night i've concluded that it's probably too early to hope for an end to the gold bear market. the g'bugs are all around way too hopeful and cheery...also the frizzelbun blow-off looks incomplete.
