it's not a definitive guide, but it's a consise a starting point and distills the issues well for a start.

If I may step in here.

Do yourself a favor and buy "Getting Started in Options" by Michael C. Thomsett.

This is the easiest book about options to understand IMO. I've read several books, including Leaps, but Thomsett uses plain language and the book is very well organized.
The beauty of the book is that every section is formatted the same and uses the same type examples, so learning is fast.
