As I understand it, "front running" is knowing your client with whom you have a fiduciary relationship, wants to buy 500,000 shares of ABCD and you step in and buy prior to executing his order.

When Abby says AMZN is as great stock, I always assume she owns it.

"It doesn't matter if the poster is posting anonymously if it can be demonstrated that the anonymous "entity" is influential. "

The point of concern is using the license improperly to influence people. The only way an anonymous poster can get influence is to be right more often than not. The only way that a licensed individual can use that license to influence people is to reveal who they are, which means they are no longer anonymous.

I posted the article earlier in order to answer the question that you asked numerous times. I did not do so in order to engage you in philosophical debate wrt message thread posting. It is my opinion that you would do better to figure out what is working in this market and to act on it rather than chasing anonymous posters who disagree with you. It is a truism in the market that people are going to disagree with you no matter your decision. It is proven by the fact that folks are able to take positions in the first place. I do know it is not illegal to enter into a position and then to express an opinion wrt that position, no matter the level of influence. It seems that you think that the only folks who should be legally able to express their opinion is those without the courage to put their money where their mouth is. That would indeed be a sad thing to see.

I am not interested in entering into further semantic debates. I doubt that it is illegal to disagree with sommivigo, or to publish such an opinion. Good luck to you with your portfolio.

Barb
