In "Information Rules" the authors talk about Lock-In and how powerful it can be. AOL is probably a prime example of its application. Lock-In may be a lot stronger force than has been previously recognized. Just because there are low BTE doesn't necessarily mean the Market Leader is going to be threatened if they have a powerful Lock-In factor working for them.
