paul, i didn't think they would take this thing down until they drew in more call buyers and they have the holiday period to do just that.

there are two ways to look at the nasdaq, this is a bear flag from april, or we made a panic bottom in april, a retest in may, a breakaout gap and a successful test of the gap.

since the 200 dma is rising, i think u have to give the latter the benefit of the doubt.

i know we've flip flopped, thats cause dennis proclaimed himself a bare -g-

In retrospect, there has been evidence of buying interest for a period of time now. Yesterday definitely told me something when the market refused to continue its sell off despite all the activity I was seeing. Then there was that bull wedge on the 15-min chart that has followed through today.

Right now where price is at with respect to resistance on the charts, and the TRIN looking to continue its move up from here, along with the TICK looking ready to make a push down, IMO at this point in the trading session the upside is limited.

JMO. :-)

If TICK is not able to make its push down shortly, I am expecting another attempt at a move up. So far TRIN has not been able to continue up. We shall see. I am starting to look at TIKI for clues.

11:04 AM

I am beginning to think TICK will make a push up from here. I see price is "triangulating" again, thanks to those "swingers" out there. LOL

The volume on the nasdaq has been rising last few days and is pretty healthy considering the seasonality. Like I said before it is nice to have that confirmation. Given the seasonality, it will come, but in the meantime the indexes continue to climb higher. It wont be long before we take out the July highs.
