I could be wrong but from what I have read and heard; it is as likely that the Pakistanis and Indians will resolve the Kashmir issue as it is that the Palistinians and Israelis will resolve their issue. It has been an issue as far back as the cultures have existed and will continue to be an issue until the end of time. I personally think it is a mistake to think you can resolve it by one side or the other ever giving it up the property rights to the other. Even if Pakistanis were physically forced out of Kashmir the issue would still smolder and flame up from time to time. I suggest the focus be changed from property rights to the new global economy that includes everyone. If you leave one group out, you simply cement their feelings of oppression and injustice. Bring in new positive progressive issues that everyone can get behind and some of the old issues will disappear on their own. On the other hand if we just take a back seat we will see what happens when you neglect a problem (worse case scenario).
