mixed bag: from MSFT/i2/ARBA to IFM/InvoiceLink and CKFR

>>>Microsoft, IBM, Ariba Team Up <-----what a team!
will they name Emergis / Invoicelink as one of 30 Co's on Wed? Maybe not if deal is for Yellow Pages only but Bell Media Active could be, Otherwise maybe , as I'm sure Arba needs InvoiceLink. dailynews.yahoo.com

shakeout is coming:
>>>conclude that larger players in the segment should do okay. Ariba, Commerce One and Vertical Net are all on track
biz.yahoo.com

I like this one:
>>>InvoiceLink was able to attract some top talent, including an executive from CheckFree (CKFR), a competitor based near Atlanta.

in addition,FYI: IFM was not allowed to use Transpoint in the US market which has now been bought out by CKFR. That's OK as IFM has bought out InvoiceLink an EIPP. Now IFM will prepare entry into the US in the B2B sector not the consumer B2C. Somewhat as a competitor of CKFR but only B2B.
