Name is Murali. World powers like US hold back their dues, so how do you expect them to do an effective job? They are involved in so many peace keeping efforts that US is afraid to send it's people for. I guess an American life is more precious than say a British peacekeeper or third world peacekeeper. As, I said when UN has to be run by consensus of all it's member nations and it is not an easy task. Add to it some world powers throw a spanner in the wheel every now and then.
