I do not want to feel anything at all when I trade.

That's a whole different world to me. When I run orders for other people, usually a novice day trader calling from his home after his computer crashes, panicking over his CIEN or YHOO or some other crazy stock, I am super cool and collected. My boss says I'm an ice man while trading for other people. However, I found that when it's MY money, I am just about the opposite. When I lose money, I freak out and want to scream and break things. When I make money, it's better than heroin or any drug - I want to kiss the cleaning lady as I walk down the hall. It seems like I can feel the angry/happy chemicals flowing through my veins. I know that this is a symptom of my inexperience. Also, I have been flat broke my entire life so a couple hundred dollars is a lot of money to me. I had to quit trading after a month, so I don't know how much improvement I would have made by now. I should start again in 1-3 months, so we'll see. But anyway, I just wanted to offer the perspective of someone who is at the other end of the trading emotions spectrum.
