Stock is definitely not a momentum play - more of a "cyclical" value play! As long as the earnings and sales come in better than previous quarters and above street consensus, SVGI will hold its price and move up some!

218 institutions own 84 % of the float of 30.2 million shares or 75 % of the total 34 million shares. Insiders own a mere 11 %. In the last three months the net purchase was 3 million shares. EQSF advisors own 4412500 shares, Capital Guardian trust owns 1789400 shares, Third Avenue Value fund owns 3734500 shares, and Merrill Lynch global allocation fund owns 1669600 shares. These folks won't own it unless they see the price going up at least 100 %. Bear Stearns has put a $ 60 target on SVGI! I see it definitely hitting $ 50 sometime next year, since companies like Taiwan Semi have their foundry capacity sold out all the way till 2002. So the equipment vendors like SVGI should remain brisk for the next several quarters. However SVGI always lies in the shadow of AMAT and NVLS, which have better price action.
Got to be patient on this one, as it breaks its next resistance of $ 34 later this year.
