i agree...but not in all issues. anyway, 'real' or not, we get this EVERY month end. and it usually lasts well into the beginning of the following month.

today was probably a mixture of genuine buying , panicky blow-off buying (look at the volume in some stocks) and the usual month end tape painting. in any case, doesn't matter what we call it, right? it's bullish, that's the bottom line. SPX new high by tomorrow morning i would say...
