Totally agree. I sold my recent gainers into strength all day today. Sitting in large % cash, and will wait and see what pros do next week. Looking at 3 letter value plays for Sept, exercising lots of caution. I'm remembering a post that you made a while back about "signs of a top," that's been going off in my mind the last 2 weeks. Have you noticed all the splits lately? Anyway, better to be cautious than neurotically chase the next high. I never expected to have such a decent summer in the market, and CAPITAL PRESERVATION is key to success if you're a trader. (Disclaimer- I'm not a buy and hold investor, so I'm not sitting on the types of gains some people are. Those with good entries will easily weather any short-term storms).
