Frank,

No hate here. I believe Intel's desktop CPU engineering is in trouble. I would like to see Intel fix their problems (after my January options expire.)

f.simons,

Intellabees didn't tease us on that susceptible point because they knew we would have voted to ban them <ggg>

(Absolutely kidding on that one... does it look serious?!?)

Max:)

A lot of Intellabees were very restrained in their crowing activities when AMD went through its 40 point fall. We knew real people had lost real money and there is nothing about that to make me feel good. Paul Engel did gloat over Niceguy's options losses a lot more than was called for, but the general tone was restrained.

Oh, give me a break, Frank. I've only been reading the regular AMD thread since many January or so, but the "we will bury you" traffic from Elmer, along with the innumerable scatological Paul Engel posts, always seemed more than sufficient. There's plenty of cheerleading here, but hateful?

Cheers, Dan.

Frank,

I don't hate Intel. Actually I've owned a lot of it for a very long time, but their recent ineptitude has me worried about my holdings. They are making it seem as if they have forgotten how to be competitive.

If they have actually arranged to take an intentional dive for anti-monopoly purposes as I suggested earlier, I wish they would do it more gracefully. Sooner or later, one of these embarrassing fumbles is going to negatively affect the stock price.

Hard to tell from all the posts here today that Intel hit a new all-time closing high today. With the hateful flavor of the posts on this thread the last few days, it is going to be much easier to come over and do some serious nose-rubbing next time.

Holy mackerel! Frank.... my comment was made in jest to tweak Scumbria's sarcastic sense of humor. (which I share).
I never thought my posts had such a profound effect on anyone. I don't take them seriously. Perhaps, you shouldn't either.
