Actually all I know about Perisphone was that she spent 3 months in Hades because she ate 3 pommegranite seeds. I thought it was her mother who got mad and made things cold for those 3 months, but I wasn't sure who the dad was. Was he one of those deadbeat dads? I mean what kind of dad lets his daughter go to hell without any supervision? TP

Well she is more truly Goddess of the dead--but the maiden of Spring. Her original name is Kore which is a cute name. Her Roman name is Proserpine which Shakespeare has mae a household word. There are other myths which surround Persephone as well. I used to visit her in Tartarus, so I know the lay-out pretty well. Someday, I will spend lots of time there, so its good to have a friend there! She is very pretty. Her mom loves her a whole lot.
