Tony, I asked the thread about Beowulf clusters and received no response. After reading the EMC thread, I decided to ask again. If it is irrelevant, I wish someone would tell me.

I can take a good whack with a 2x4 <vbg>. Just can't help thinking all the multiprocessor configurations, NUMA, Beowulf, whatever, might explain all this demand. Last year my son insisted on a dual processor machine for his latest. This seems to be a trend and I'm wondering if others are seeing it and if INTC is going to meet the demand.

Better yet, I would like to know where all this is going. And, while you're at it, the price of INTC (and a few others) a year or two from now from those who know.

Still hoping there's a response out there, waiting to be written. Hopefully, it will be something I can understand. Might as well ask for the stars.
