i know...the year 2000 has seen the smallest Gold Eagle mintage in a long time...one actually has to pay a premium for those already. that's because many bought lots of '99 coins ahead of the y2k hoax. demand for Gold Eagles in 2000 has consequently been small.
i'm also considering buying a few actually. i've been on a strange physical metal buying spree this year. btw, all gold stock owners should buy some physical now and then...as a matter of principle and solidarity. it may even add up one day.
