Portals.......

I'd like to thank Uncle Frank, Dale, Downsouth and Doren, and a host of PM'ers for the info on portals and email.

The central question is why do I need a portal. The central response is, "I don't.....my wife does".

We're using MSN now, but will check out Yahoo more closely.
And since I have my work email address, but no longer have my AOL address, I need to look extensively into email thru my browser (IE5), thru MSN and other portals, and thru my Bell carrier, although the latter sounds like a sure thing for Spam. And I need to investigate Outlook more, which we use at work, but which I haven't used at home.

Thanks to all of the thread participants for the help.
