I've been pounding the table on that for a while.<< My impression of Buffett's comments were that he was avoiding tobacco for "socially conscious" reasons and not economic ones. Perhaps he views snuff differently in that regard also. When I was a shareholder of UST, the suit threats were an issue that occasionally rocked the stock with the group, but less so because of reduced and less fatal forms of cancer. Wayne
