pinhi - I believe it will
Check out www.dramreview.com for patent information.
I Have been following this one very close since Jan.
Chart is sloppy as hell but so what.
There is so much FUD out there it is unbelievable.

RMBS will likely collect royalties on all DRAM soon.
They would be already if MU wasn't stupid as hell.
MU is risking their entire business over a small royalty that would not affect anyone if they all had to pay.
MU, Hitachi, and Hyndai are theives.

Several patent lawyers have reviewed MU's case and find it laughable. MU sueing RMBS for DDR development costs. How silly can you get. MU is grasping at straws. They forgot to ramp up what the OEMs really want. CHEAP RDRAM.
Now MU is in a hole. No DDR MOBO. Stock dropping. Has become a short recommendation. INTEL sold all MU stock causing it to drop. Now TXN (also with ties to RMBS - makes RMBS clock controller) has filed to sell all its shares. Let's see what happens then. This silliness has already cost MU shareholders $4B! Samsung will be #1 soon.
All because CFO of MU and RMBS got into a fight at a party last year. What a way to hold a grudge.

Let's see: a 2-4% royalty on entire DRAM market estimated to be between 60B and 100B in 2003. Select your own PE.
Figure out a reasonable price target.

A company with about 150 employees.
No factories.
No overhead.

Not bad.
All it takes is one more signing to do it.
Infineon, NEC, or Samsung.

You can either play the trends or just buy and hold on.
I play the trends if I can spot them.
Right now I am doing it with options.
Recommend the FEB 120's.

P.S. If you buy and it suddenly spikes up to 120 or 150 or whatever. Do not hesitate. JUST SELL. It will drop 50% then start over again. I sold out at 117 at the last go around and bought back in at 67.

The BU$$ looks ready for another jump here. I sold my Common at 90 on the last runup but held my options. Wish I sold all of it at 90. The trend may be back up. Bought back some of my common today. Will buy the rest back FRI.

One can make a respectable living off RMBS alone by playing the trends. That is exactly what I am tyying to do.
