Jimbo, I think back in 1985 or 1986 some guy from NYC
called me and said you gotta go for this great "penny" stock. Being totally naive I told him Ok and sent him $500 or $600 I never saw again. Soon, the fee to keep my account active exceeded my investment money. I never had a clue.
In July of 1999 I opened an online account and began trading. I had some great picks: HRCT, NUKE, AIGI, ADLU,
ADOT, SHCC, APMC, and VONE. They all turned out to be GREAT picks with very significant RETURNs for OTHERs. I had not
the patience to let them grow and blossum. I sold ALL but
HRCT off and bought two of the biggest DOGS you ever saw,
and sometimes near their ALL TIME HIGH believeing they would
go higher: GEOL and ABET. I consolidated my position in these and lost out when ABET went to ABETE and just before
GEOL announced Chapter 11 / GEOLQ. Fortunately, I had gotten in on some IPOs through Wit Capital where I flipped and
got spanked but made $1000 to $2000. This kept me afloat until I WISED UP and admitted I DIDN'T KNOW. That's a very
hard thing to admit to oneself sometimes. I studied a stock
I won't mention cause it brings back bad memories for you
and found you and SSP and TGL. I have learned alot thanks to everyone on this board, particularly you, SSP, DD, and many of the other great traders here. I changed my strategy and got in on KAHI. Made some money. Got killed in the March
penny slaughter but survived with a fairly nice yearly return. More imporantly, an increased amount of knowledge.
Sometimes only PAIN causes GROWTH. Things are looking up and perhaps I should have taken the TEN Banger today in DNAP
and bought back my shares and then some more but I suspect
DNAP will have me smiling again real soon. In fact I still
am. I also am awaiting CCAA's run.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for all of their
insights. LOL for ALL....
