That's a lot of words that tell me nothing except you feel like you're working hard and "real soon now" the wonderful results will all be evident. In other contexts I believe such a writing would (appropriately) be called FUD.

JMHO.

Thanks Mike, good post to know that company internally is going great guns. Street will catch up. It always does.
I was very encouraged when Balmer said he was "Bullish" short term and long term. That was very encouraging.

Inside Microsoft the employee morale is 'DOWN'.

There is no secret about it now. What stops Microsoft (more popularly known as Microslop) from admitting it?

Microslop has lost the battle on the middle ware. J2EE and Java middle ware is what any one worth their weight and name is building their products, sites and applications on.

After trying it out for years their OSes are still bulky, obese and sloppy.

The company is playing second fiddle on every front except for the desktop office and fat PC OS (It still is second to Apple in quality on that one).

Talented people have already left the company, gone on long leave or are leaving by the hordes. Check out any recruiting web site and you would see hundreds if not a few thousand resumes and profiles of people with Microsoft listes as their current employer.
