<<Hey guys, have we stated that we are in a "different" and crazy market?>>
Well yes, Freeus. In last months have changed my MO from buy and hold ( months or years) to buy and sell when up.
I have 1/3 d as much invested, and therefore less at risk, than last year yet still make satisfying gains.
In last few weeks I have bgt maybe 6 of Gregs's best picks, and already sold 4 and bgt others.
I still have buy and hold stocks with several years
viewpoint but even then, it they seem to get too high, there are gone- to be bgt back lower if they drop..
Good money can be made on some of those-intc,orcl,emc,
etc thru buying the leaps and holding for months.
If buying only mo-mos one gets high profits plus some big losses which make one nervous.
So I have maybe 60% buy and hold, and 40% mo-mos
which provide more excitement, while the LT stuff gives a
feeling of some security(hehe, whuts that?)- at least enough to permit venturing into the mo-mos.
Utilities have become momentum stocks? Will wonders never cease(G) Go cpn
