absolutely correct. Look, I just spent several hours the other night finally trying to salvage a bunch of old files from my iMac before giving it away. You know what program they were created in? FullWrite. I loved FullWrite. It did everything I wanted, beautifully, for years and years. Try opening those files now--especially if you have my level of tech savvy. AOL sucks, Microsoft sucks, the Borg sucks (or is, "the Borg suck"?). But it feels a little less scary being on the inside, and life's too short to add extra hassles.
