Kevin: Excellent post. Futures are now soaring higher than I've seen for quite some time. I moved out of most of my short-term positions yesterday and will proceed with caution. U R right: April is etched in memory. M2

Kevin: When you have a chance: Someone mentioned to me that CNBC is reporting this morning that August saw a record inflow of money into the equity markets. Presumably the bulk of this flowed into pension and mutual funds. How does this square with the widespread belief that mm's will be returning to action next week and will take the markets down? Are we looking at a retail-wholesale dustup? M2
