Thank you, Mike. The number was lifted from the latest annual report. As you know, the registered number of stockholders known by the company is from the registrar and transfer agent they hired. However, the street held certificates may include many customers of the brokerages. Each brokerage trade with their customers from a bull pan of market makers. Merrill Lynch has 40 market makers; while Saloman, Smith Barney has 80. You may consider them to be one unknown customer for each brokerage house as far as ANTC is concerned. New SEC law requires the customers of brokerages to decide whether they will disclose their true ownership to the company. Many just don't care. Our shares are held by Salomon, Smith Barney. Will level2 trading tells us more? It does reveal daytraders' actions, but they usually settle at the end of a day. Net ownership is zero.
