Looks like a P4 1.4 Ghz is about 18% faster than a 1.0 Ghz Thunderbird BUT the P4 was running on 98SE and the T-bird on W2k which probably means the P4 is even faster...

FWIW, I made a comment on my webpage a few days ago begging people with Thunderbirds and Durons to test this program at different multiplier settings (not bus overclocked). This would allow us to estimate how it might perform at1.20, 1.30, and 1.40GHz.

Any takers? I'd gladly collate Tbird scores if you can send them to gogobench@jc-news.com ;)
