The Diamond Industry is controlled (mostly) by De Beers - to paraphrase the song - 'when will you ever learn?' - or is it simply that you only know one song, one tune?

Ken, While i agree with your attitude towards the producers more than the corrective actions you lay down for them, i have always wondered why you find it hard to realize that "it ain't gonna happen your way" and investigate another angle or mode of attack that would help readers of this thread to understand the gold markets. No one expects the posts we place onto this thread to make any difference or actually move events we are not directly engaged in, but to only hopefully give a view so that others that may have direct access may find a reason to act and through them a difference can be made. a.k.a. Folks putting in time & money into GATA. a.k.a. a talk and a walk, with some music + dancing For example, just so long that GATA's effort has resulted in only actions supplied by GATA itself, that yes it is easy and correct to state that they accomplish only words, and these words are only more of the same from themselves, GATA. Yes, easy to flag the GATA as all show and no action. Noe if/when GATA announces that a small or very narrow media source has "played" the GATA story, that the talk or response here has been near zero. But now that Germany's most respected newspaper, the FAZ, without any direct contact from GATA except all the massive information GATA has placed out into public view, the FAZ place most of GATA's salient points in succinct, accurate fashion as if GATA payed for the ad space. As reported GATA did not pay or even ask FAZ to do this, so here we have a very pro GATA article that could very well be a planted story by the Bundesbank using Germany's most respected newspaper. Now you read the story and know the source is not a place like a Lyndon LaRouche, and yet you see nothing as being changed in the "world order" of the rich & famous & powerful, while knowing that it is these folks that decide greatly what will be what happens that lets you decide from what they present in front of you to decide what you will do. a.k.a.
